Charles Glen Sloan, of 103 N. Harvey, Borger, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday in his home.
A truck driver, he was a native of Oklahoma City, Okla. and a Borger resident for 20 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Keeler Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Elda; one son, Paul, Irving, Texas; one step-son, Ira Colley of the home; one stepdaughter, Heather Colley of the home; his mother, Mrs. Della Sloan of Borger; three brothers, Larry and Rick, Borger and Dann of Jones, Okla. Preceeded [sic] in death by his father Leon Sloan in 1985.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lit McIntosh, minister of the First Baptist Church of Skellytown officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
The family will be staying at 624 N. Harvey.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lit McIntosh, Skellytown Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Casket bearers were Gordon Chamberlain, Donnie Robertson, David Mills, and Donnie Graham.
He is survived by his wife, Elda; one son, Paul of Santa Fe, N.M.; one stepson, Ira Colley of the home; one stepdaughter, Heather Colley of the home; his mother, Mrs. Della Sloan of Borger; three brothers, Rick and Larry, Borger, and Danny of Jones, Okla. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Sloan, in 1985.
