Funeral service for Clarence Arlan Burks, 52, of Kirbyville was held at 4 p.m. July 23 at Causey's E. E. Stringer Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Magnolia Springs Cemetery.
He died Wednesday from injuries received in an automobile accident which occurred nine miles south of Kirbyville.
He lived in Kirbyville most of his life and was employed as a construction worker for Mobil Oil in Beaumont. In addition, he was a Precinct 3 deputy constable.
Survivors include his wife, Tommie Jean Burks of Kirbyville; one son, Robert Carlton Burks of Seabrook; two daughters, Tina McAdams of Kirbyville and Alta Martin of Joinerville; three brothers, David Burks of Magnolia Springs, Guy Burks of Beaumont and Earl Burks of Texarkana.
