Thomas (Tom) Amos age 73 passed away surrounded by family and friends. Born and raised in Loudon County, he worked for 30 years in Oak Ridge at the K-25 and Y-12 Plants. Tom accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior as a young man in The Royal Ambassador Program at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

He was blessed to serve the Lord at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and First Baptist Church Concord throughout his life. Tom enjoyed helping others in need, grateful to use his talents as a handyman when needed.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sammie Sue; son, Tim and daughter-in-law, Susan; granddaughter and his little sunshine, Tatum; sister, Sandy Dalton and nephew, Richard Dalton (Valerie) and brother-in-law, Bruce Mourfield (Pat) and his family.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to Pleasant Hill Cemetery, in care of Dean Brewster, 101 Brewster Road, Lenoir City, TN 37771.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, January 15th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Glenn Gamble officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, is in charge of arrangements.
