Roanoke- Chester (Chet) Lewis, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 25, 2016. Born in Eolia, KY and formerly of Bedford, VA, Chet was a WWII vet, an avid bowler, lifelong salesman, and friend of many.
He is lovingly survived by his wife Christine of over 65 years; his three daughters: Debbie and husband John Meise, Linda and husband Dave Collins, Fay and husband Alan Fields, Melody and husband David Collie; his son Jay Lewis; his grandchildren: Paul Lewis, Erika Meise and Fiancé Ross, John Meise, Jr., Jacob Collie and wife Tanya, Andrew Collie, Zachary Collie, Mark Collie, Michael Collins, and Matthew Collins; two great grandson's: Nathaniel and Noah Collie; and many cherished nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Polly Melton as well as 20 siblings and half siblings.
