Marjorie Viola Conrad Warren, age 94, lifelong resident of Ponca City, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at her home. Marjorie was born on Monday, November 12, 1923 to John Ross Conrad and Lillian Pearl Whitesell Conrad in Ponca City, the second of four children.

She was raised in Ponca City, graduating from Ponca City High School in 1942. Following high school, Marjorie worked as a telephone operator at the Jens Marie Hotel for ten years. During this time, she married Arthur Warren on January 4, 1947 in Ponca City. Later, Marjorie worked for the Dollar Saver, Inc. for 20 years before retiring in 1990. Ever the faithful wife and mother, Marjorie ensured the family always had a hot meal on the table in the evening, even after working a long day. Love for her family gave Marjorie great motivation in all she did. As an active mother in her children's lives, Marjorie led the Camp Fire Girls Blue Birds, and worked the concession stand at baseball games while her husband Arthur coached the team. Marjorie was a caring, humble soul, always looking to see how she could help others, without desiring acknowledgement for her kindnesses. She enjoyed playing golf, sewing, crafts, cracking pecans with Arthur, and tending to her lovely flowers. Through the years, Marjorie faithfully attended First Christian Church.

Survivors include her two dear children; sister and husband; six grandchildren and spouses; five great-grandchildren; as well as her daughter in law.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Art, daughter Judi Renee Anderson, son, Charles "Chuck" Arthur Warren (183731955), sister Edith McArdle and brother Bobby Jo Conrad.

Friends and loved ones may pay their respects at the funeral home on Monday, January 15, from 5-8pm and Tuesday, January 16, from 8am-8pm. Marjorie's family will greet friends in the chapel at the funeral home from 6-7 pm on Tuesday. A funeral ceremony to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in the chapel at Trout Funeral Home & Crematory. Following the ceremony, Marjorie will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Arthur at Resthaven Memorial Park in Ponca City. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
