Mr. Larry D. Holt, Jr.
Larry Holt was born March 19, 1951 in Vicksburg, Mississippi to the late Ruby Gross and Dude Holt. He confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at King David #2 Missionary Baptist Church.
He moved away from Vicksburg in 1980 and returned in 2015 where he later rededicated his life to Christ and was welcomed into the Zion Travelers Church family.
Larry departed this earthly life on Friday, December 29, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dude Holt and Ruby Gross; one son, Dominic Holt; his sister, Bobbett Chambers.
His memories will forever be cherished by: his companion, Theresa Williams of Vicksburg, Mississippi; four daughters, Michele Wells of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Shamica Perkins of Springfield, Illinois, Angela Holt and Zariah Johnson both of Los Angeles, California; sons, Larry Holt of Phoenix, Arizona, Quinton Perkins of Springfield, Illinois and Phoenix Givens of Vicksburg Mississippi; six sisters, Sandra Howard, Lura Holt, Marian Holt all of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Carolyn Hall of Dallas, Texas, Denise Holt and Barbara Council both of Minneapolis, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special niece, Sheila Butler of Austin, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
