"Anna Mae Carver, age 85, of Owenton, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Gallatin Healthcare in Warsaw.

Born December 30, 1932, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late I.J. and Mary Ellen Lusby Goodrich. She was the widow of Tommy Carver and was also preceded in death by her daughter Dawn Ellen Carver. Anna Mae was the owner of Town & Country and Carver's Jewelry. She was a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. She loved gardening and spoiling her grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughters, Teena (Kelley) Gamble and Debbie Sigretto; her grandchildren, Collin (Lindsay) Gamble, Madison and Molly Gamble and Nash (Brittany) Croley and her great grandson Parker Croley. She is also survived by her sister, Mary June Grooms.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 1 - 4 PM. Funeral services will follow at 4 PM with Bro. Tom hall and Bro. Brad Banks presiding. A private burial will be in the Poplar Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Poplar Grove Cemetery Fund. "
