Mr. William Lonnie Bartley, 62, of Sylvester died on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his residence.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the First Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. Donnie Duncan and Rev. Todd Brooks will officiate.
Mr. Bartley was born on March 6, 1955 in Sylvester GA to the late William Douglas and Louise Brooks Bartley. He had lived in Worth County all of his life and was a retired truck driver for Relwof Trucking Company. Mr. Bartley enjoyed football, NASCAR, dirt tracking racing, music and watching westerns. The thing that Lonnie loved most in life was spending time with his family, friends and church family. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include wife, Lisa Bartley of Sylvester; daughters, Stefanie Bartley (Shannon Robb) of Saint Johns, FL; Ashley Souter (Ben) of Sylvester and Allie Bartley of Sylvester; grandchildren, Spencer and Carly Souter; brother, Ricky Bartley (Laura); sisters, Edith Bartley and Wanda Bartley; special canine companion, Mac; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
