Frankie Clifford Ballard passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2018. Frankie was born on March 7, 1931 in Picher, Oklahoma to Alice Ann Ballard and Louis Emmett Ballard.

He attended college at Oklahoma City University where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Frank worked for Western Electric/AT&T for 37 years, ending the last 25 years as a department chief. When he wasn't working, he was enjoying life with a nice round of golf, bowling, woodworking, playing gin and even square dancing! One of his most fulfilling moments in golf was his hole-in-one. He was a member of the Mason's, the Scottish Rite and spent 5 years in the United States Navy serving his country. Some call Frank a coffee kind of guy, but that would be an understatement. It didn't matter what the weather was, he would seek out a cup of coffee even in 100 degree heat. The love of his life was Sherral. They spent 59 beautiful years together in marriage. Frank spent much of his time supporting and encouraging daughter Sheri in all her school activities and sports, and later had the same devotion to his granddaughters in all of their endeavors. Frank and Sherral were a part of the Church of Servant where they attended services together.

Frank is survived by his wife, Sherral Ballard; daughter Sheri Galloway and son-in-law Tim Galloway; granddaughters Lindsay Johnson and Delaney Galloway.
Frank was preceded in death by; father Louis Emmett Ballard and mother Alice Ann Ballard, brothers Harvey Ballard, Odell Ballard, twin brother Freddie Ballard; sisters Dorothy Smith and Winfree Spears.

Services at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Jan. 20, 2018 at 11am.
