Mark E. Lumbert, 63 of Aurora, was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven on Tuesday January 9, 2018 at Presence Mercy Center. He was born September 18, 1954 in Aurora, IL the son of the late Lawrence and Lillian (Olson) Lumbert. Mark was employed for many years at All-Steel Corp of Aurora. He attended First Presbyterian Church of Aurora along with several other area churches. Mark is survived by his wife, Linda M. Lumbert; his daughter, Marsha (Justin) Brockway; his two granddaughters, Courtlyn and Brylee Brockway; his brothers, Harold Lumbert, Steve (Pam Will) Lumbert and Rich Lumbert; his sister, Barbara Forbes; and many other family and friends. Mark was a devoted Father and Grandfather. His daughter and granddaughters were the light of his life. He never missed an opportunity to discuss his pride and joys. His other passion was sports. He loved watching or playing sports, but softball was his true calling. Mark played softball well into his fifties in various leagues. He was well known for his Big Heart, outgoing personality and witty sense of humor. 414
