Born October 2, 1927 in Carthage, MO. She was the daughter of the late Clifton H. and Mary A. (McDaniel) Davis.
Irene retired from Rite Aide Corporation. She attended River of God Church in Enola and loved working for functions at the church. Irene enjoyed volunteering at the local animal shelter. She also had a compassion for anyone in need and helped if possible. Irene loved her pets, Jolie and Zita.
She is survived by a son, James A. Romberger; a daughter, Janet K. Romberger; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert E. Romberger and a sister, Julia Burgie.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 16, 2018, 11 am, at GraceWay Church of God, 220 St. Johns Church Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Viewing 10 – 11 am at the church. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Irene loved the Lord with all her heart, and is with him in Heaven rejoicing. She was a very caring person, and always helped people in need. She loved her family, and friends, and will be greatly missed.
