He was a graduate of Cornell University. Many knew him as the manager of Mr. Wiggs Department Store in his early career. He founded his own home health company, Nursefinders, serving the Central KY area. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Avram is survived by his children, Edward (Viviana) Levine, Robert (Alissa) Levine, and Beth (Joseph Rabinowitz) Levine; five grandchildren, Maya, Efron, Sam, Josh, and Alex; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Kentucky.
