Ellen was raised in Roy Utah and Hansen Idaho before moving to Ontario, Oregon. She fell in love with her husband of 61 years, Lawern Ray King while attending Ontario High School. The couple was happily married on November 10, 1942 in Payette Idaho and sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City temple in 1943. The couple raised their family as they farmed and ranched in Ontario. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints she served with all her heart and had a true adoration for life. She was a woman of great faith and always looked forward to the next adventure. Ellen was a loving mother and grandmother, a hard worker, and an excellent seamstress who endlessly used her talents and abilities to serve others.
