Lloyd W. Kihle, 87, of Williston, North Dakota passed away December 26, 2017 in Yuma, Arizona. He was born January 11, 1930 in Portal, North Dakota to Andrew Kihle and Nelsie Katherine Kleppen-Kihle. Lloyd attended school in Columbus, North Dakota.
He also served our Country in the United States Army in Korea for one year from 1950-1951. On October 23, 1953, he married the love of his life, Lou (Dalebout) Kihle. They celebrated 64 wonderful years of marriage, until Lloyd was called to his Heavenly home. Lloyd was a member of Our Redeemer’s Church of Williston. He also was a mechanic and enjoyed farming and going to races.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his mother and father, Nelsie and Andrew Kihle; his brother, Duane Kihle and his sisters-in-law.
Left behind to treasure his memory is his loving wife, Lou (Dalebout) Kihle of Williston, ND; sons, Steve Kihle, James (Teri) Kihle and Jeff (Kathryn) Kihle; daughter, Susan (Garth) Laughridge; sister, Shirley Roloff of Williston; 6 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and a host of loving friends also survive. Urn bearers will be his grandchildren, Becky (Jason) Cohns, Sheri (Scott) Conlin, Tyler (Heather) Kihle, Jason Laughridge, Evon (Heide) Laughridge and Sheldon (Louren) Kihle.
