Kathryn B. "Katie" Lindeman, age 88, of Clay City, died at 3:40 p.m., Wednesday, June 2, 1999 at Burgin Manor Nursing Home in Olney.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 5, l999 in the Chapel of Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Clay City, with Bro. Neal Kenly officiating. Burial was in the Smith Cemetery, Sailor Springs.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Mrs. Lindeman was born December 5, 1910 in Sailor Springs, IL., the daughter of Mike and Celestia (Rinehart) McKinney. She married Paul Jenkins. He preceded her in death. She married Alvie F. Lindeman in 1989, he also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Lindeman was retired from the Shoe Factory in Flora, and Tressler's in Olney. She was a member of the First Christian Curch in Sailor Springs.

Survivors include one brother, Jimmie M. McKinney and one sister, Ellerea McKinney, both of Clay City; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lindeman was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two sisters and two brothers.
