Bruce C. Tucker peacefully went to rest to be with his Lord on 12 January 2018 with his loving wife, Holly, by his side.

Bruce was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 3, 1941 to Charles and Anna Tucker. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1960 and served 24 years of active duty, retiring in 1984 after rising to the rank of Master Sergeant (MSgt.). While serving his country, he developed several lifelong friendships. Bruce was a "Paid Up For Life" member of the American Legion, as well as a member of the 40 et 8.

From 1984 through 2008, Bruce was employed in a civilian capacity for the Federal Government at Griffiss Air Force Base. During this time, Bruce also met his wife, Holly, who he married on August 22, 1997 in Rome, NY.

"Tuck," as he was affectionately known to friends and family, took pride in everything that he did and enjoyed many hobbies. These included photography, working on computers, woodworking, and the repair and restoration of antiques, all of which he excelled at.

He was a natural story-teller and an inspiration to everyone that had the pleasure of meeting him. He was generous, kind, and interested in learning. He loved to travel with his wife and to spend time with family. He was always looking to snap the perfect candid photo at holiday gatherings.

Bruce leaves his wife Holly, son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Maryrose Tucker, daughter Stacy Kutzuba and significant other Chuck Niemetz, as well as his brother and sister-in-law, Allan and Diane Tucker of New Jersey, and three granddaughters, Larissa, Mackenzie and Taylor Kutzuba.

He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Charles and Donald, and two sisters, Patricia and Lorna.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome. Interment will take place in Rome Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday prior to the service from 3-6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Bruce's memory to your favorite charity.
