George E. Dodd 78 passed away Saturday January 6, 2018. He is predeceased by his parents Harold and Claudine Dodd, sisters Shirley Whipple and Marilyn Dodd, and brother Harry Dodd. He is survived by his son Thomas (Kimberly) Dodd of Afton NY and their children Stephanie, Katrina, and Amber, his sisters, Dorlene (Ralph) More of Maryland NY and Carol (Gunter) Thiesies of Arvada CO, brother-in-law Don Whipple of San Antonio TX, and several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He served in the US Navy and was a member of Local 785 at Binghamton University. He enjoyed fishing for trout in small streams, taking walks in Otsiningo Park, having coffee with friends at Nannerys, and spending time with family on Goodyear Lake being "Uncle George". Interment will be at a later date in Vestal Hills Cemetery, Vestal NY. Arrangements made by AEGIS CREMATION & FUNERAL SERVICES, 196 Clinton St. Binghamton, New York.
