Matthew Marshall, 88, of Austin, Indiana passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky
Born February 2, 1929 in Yeager, West Virginia,* he was the son of the late Simpson and Roxie Ellen (Carroll) Marshall.
He was retired from Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana and a member of Full Gospel Church of God in Austin, Indiana.
Survivors include his children, Brenda Achelpohl, Austin, Indiana, Bobby Marshall, Scottsburg, Indiana, and Matthew Marshall, Jr., Austin, Indiana. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Marshall who passed away January 23, 2017.
Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Monday, January 15, 2018 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Harley Madden & Rev. Scottie Stamper officiating.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Sunday and after 9 am Monday at Buchanan Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Austin Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
