Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Sandra Kay Sanford, 66 of Columbia, who passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at her residence. Interment will be at Society Hill Cemetery in Oakvale. Bro. Doug Barber will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Hathorn Funeral Home.
As a lifetime resident of Marion County, Sandra loved her Lord and family very deeply. She was very fond of cross stitching, sewing, and cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Harold Tolar; Mother, Betty Walthal Perkins; one Son, Brian Turnage; one Brother, Shelby Tolar; and one Sister, Stephanie Tolar.
Survivors include her Husband, Edward Sanford, Columbia; one Son, Marty Turnage (Alisha), Jefferson Davis County; two Daughters, Connie Prine (Dwayne), Columbia, Bridget Robertson (Hoot), Columbia; three Brothers; four Sisters; nine Grandchildren; and twelve Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Alton Middleton, Bill Bush, Doug Callahan, Hoot Robertson, Dwayne Prine, Marty Turnage, Frog Powell, and Carey Broom.
