Sally Ann Townsend McInnish 64, left this earth on Saturday January 6, 2018. Sally's spirit will be forever carried on in the hearts of her husband Lonnie, their 3 children Bridgett, Kimberly and Travis, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 3 siblings and an extended family of relations and friends.
Sally was born on December 13, 1953 to Glynn and Marian Townsend which completed their family with the birth of their fourth child. The family made their home in Norwalk California. Sally grew up in a busy, happy and most times chaotic household that was always filled love.
Sally had a happy childhood and has many great memories of growing up in a time when it was safe to let kids to play outside, go on adventures, roller skate around the block or play night games with the neighbor kids. Sally spent many an hour playing hopscotch on the sidewalk in front of the house. Sally loved her childhood and spent many times reminiscing with 'remember when'. It was truly a wonderful time in her life.
Sally was preceded in death but her parents Glynn and Marian Townsend of Norwalk, California, parents-in-law Lonnie and Dottie McInnish of Fontana, California, grandparents Rob Townsend, Sally Cockerham, and Julius and Anna Eulberg.
Sally is survived by her husband Lonnie, children Bridgett Roseann (Lyle) Lindsay, Travis Lee (Kristina) McInnish and Kimberly Ann Brooks all of Redding, 10 grandchildren Myke and wife Sabrina, Danny, Kasyn, Stephanie and husband Michael, Leif, Jade, Paisley, Bryson, Peyton and Kayleigh; 5 great grandchildren Blaysen, Nahlyra, Teirryn, Michael Jr., Leif Jr.; Sister Stevi (Jimmy) Vallet of Pineville, Louisiana; brother Skip (Linda) Townsend of Livingston, Louisiana, sister Susan (Curt) Wright of Providence, Utah.; Brothers-in Law Gerald McInnish of Redding California, Lowel (Julie) McInnish of Fontana, California.
A Memorial Service was held Friday January 12 at 1:00 pm at Lawncrest Chapel, 1522 E Cypress Ave, Redding followed by a Celebration of Life recep
