Julia Ann Gibson, 84, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 5, 2018. Julia was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church, owner of Aqua Spa and Pool Supply and operated the tanning salon. She was preceded in death by parents, Gilbert R. Goddard Sr. and Mary Lee Goddard; husband, Delmer James Gibson Sr.; brother, Fred Goddard. Julia is survived by daughter, Renea Anderson; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Jill Gibson and Aaron and Shelly Gibson; 8 grandchildren, Missy, Matthew, Kara, Tony, Alison, Kaitlyn, Ashley and Austin; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Herman Goddard, G.R. Goddard, Rusty Goddard, Sanford Goddard; 3 sisters, Gracie Bruner, Hazel Smith and Gladys Johnson; several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Pat and Francis her caregivers and UT Hospice. The family received friends Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, from 5:00pm - 7pm. A service followed at 7:00pm with Rev. David Smith officiating. Family and friends met Monday, January 8, 2018 at Berry Highland South Cemetery for a 2:00pm graveside service. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com.
