Mrs. Sharon Kay Wadkins, age 66 of Benton, KY died Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. Born Friday, November 16, 1951 in Calvert City, KY, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Wadkins is survived by her husband Roy Wadkins of Benton, KY, son, Roy Wadkins, Jr. of Calvert City, KY, daughter, Shelly Kay Blossom of Benton, KY, four grandchildren, Shelby Brooke Wadkins, Rex Tyler Wadkins, Carson McKell Blossom and Nate Griffin Blossom and brother, Kenneth Ray Drennan of Clayton, IN.
Mrs. Wadkins was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Jay Drennan and parents Kenneth Wyman and Betty LouEva (Seibert) Drennan.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 12, 2018 in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home, with Rev. Lynn McWherter officiating. Burial will follow in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
