Christine Renee Beauchamp
July 25, 1964 - December 20, 2017

Christine Renee Beauchamp, age 53, lost her battle with cancer in the early morning hours of December 20, 2017. She passed away peacefully at the home of her parents in Albany.

Chris was born in Denver, Colorado to Gary Beauchamp and Pamela (Bader) Beauchamp. The family moved to Portland and then to Corvallis where she grew up, playing basketball for and graduating from Santiam Christian High School.

Chris spent her life caring for people, especially the elderly, working at Joanna's Foster Home in Corvallis for more than thirty years.

Providing care for the elderly gave her the opportunity to touch lives and many relatives of former patients became life long friends. Two of her own grandmothers and her Dad were in her care for their last years.

Chris also had a passion for animals and was a frequent visitor to the local humane society. With help from her family, she was able to find new homes for Lilly, Zooey, Bella and Gunner.

She is survived by her mom and stepfather; brothers Kevin (Darlene) of Albany; Kent of Medford; Cory of Albany; sisters Kimberly Brehm of Carson City, Nevada; Becky (Steve) Boren of Albany; very dear friends and second family Wes & Jo Strobel. She adored her nieces and nephews Taylor and Ava Brehm; Kylie and Garrett Boren; Kayla, Loren and Colton Beauchamp.

Preceding her in death was her father, Gary Beauchamp.

A Celebration of Life will be January 7, 2018 at 2pm at the former location of Joanna's Foster Home in Corvallis. Memorials may be made to Lumina Hospice in Corvallis or your local humane society.
