Stephen Scott Duncan, 51, of 1378 Leadmine Road, Gaffney, S.C. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital in Spartanburg, S.C.
Born in Gaffney, he was the son of Henry Duncan, Jr. of Gaffney and the late Bonnie Ramsey Duncan.
He retired from textiles, loved fishing and hunting and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his father are three sons, Jeffery Scott Duncan, Christopher Chad Duncan, both of Gaffney and Matthew Shane Duncan and wife, Sara of Blacksburg, S.C.; a sister, Rhonda Bridges and husband, Tommy of Blacksburg; seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.n. on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
