Mr. Alton S. Bonniwell, of Lee Mont, died at his home on Monday, July 11, at the age of 73 years. Funeral services were held from Johnson's Funeral Home, Parksley, Wednesday, July 13, at 2:00 o'clock p.m., conducted by the Rev. John H. Light. Burial was in Liberty cemetery, Parksley.
Active pallbearers were J. A. Middleton, E. E. Hart, J. W. Coard, Paige Wessells, Willie Willett and C. W. Yingling.
The deceased was a member of Masonic lodge in Philadelphia, and Masonic rites were held at the graveside.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Kale, of Philadelphia; one sister, Mrs. John L. Sherwood, of Lee Mont, and by several nieces and nephews.
