Robert Weston McMenemy, 79, of Lapeer (formerly of Macomb), died Tuesday, January 2, 2018.
Bob was born May 6, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio to Robert and Marion (Weston) McMenemy and grew up primarily in Windsor, Ohio. He graduated from Millersburg Military Institute in Millersburg, Kentucky. Bob married Lois Ackerson on October 19, 1963 in Royal Oak, Michigan. Through the years, Bob worked for several companies ultimately retiring from Norgren Automotive in 2002. Above all, Bob was a faithful Christian. He was very active in his church families at Grace Christian in Warren and more recently Faith Christian in Lapeer.
Bob is survived by his wife, Lois McMenemy; three daughters: Pamela (Doug) Clark of Goodrich, Debbie (Bill) Lonergan of Cranford, NJ and Melanie (Joshua) Newport of Middleburg, FL; six grandchildren: Zachary, Liam, Evan, Weston, Chase and Cole; sister, Joyce McKenzie of Toronto, Canada. Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Lynette Brown and his parents.

Burial will take place at a later date at the Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
