Karen “K” passed quietly on May 12, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. “K” was born on June 27, 1965 in Willingboro, New Jersey. She graduated from Jefferson City High School class of 84.

“K” was preceded in death by her father Robert Brewer in 1999, at which time she relocated to Boynton Beach, Florida were she resided until her passing. “K” was an adventurer always wanting to find new things to do and new places to go, She love the outdoors, especially watching the dragonflies and hummingbirds fly close by her. “K” is survived by her dear mother Pearlie Brewer, twin and best friend Sharon Tyree, her sister and friend Pamela Brewer, nephew Justin Tyree, great nephews Colton James Tyree and Kayden Tyree, great-niece Kynzlee Tyree, longtime friend/brother-in-law Douglas Holland, special friend Bobby “Catty” Schmitz and her little Chihuahua “Lil Bit” that gave her unconditional love for the last 9 years. Along with numerous family and friends.

Ms. “K” you fought a long hard battle and I am so proud of you for your bravery you are free from all pain and will suffer no more. Fly free my friend fly free! You are forever and always in our hearts. This is not goodbye, for one day we shall be together again.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, May 23 at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, Florida 33461.
