Charles, age 93, passed away at the Via Christi Village in Manhattan, Kansas. He was the son of Matt and Ruth (Berroth) Bohn. He graduated from Alma High School in 1942. He served in the US Army during World War II. He married Dorothy DeWyke on April 27, 1949, in Alma. He married Reta Hoobler on June 12, 1987.

Survivors include his children, Jerald Bohn, Barbara O’Neill, Michael Bohn, Vernon Bohn, Rodney Bohn, Sharon Shine, Lisa Herren, and Donna Bohn, his siblings, Delbert Bohn, David Bohn, Larry Bohn, Adella Parks, Bernice Gudenkauf, and Judy Oppenlander, 17 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives, his sister, Jean Mick, and his grandson, Kyle Herren.

Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Wamego. Burial with military honors followed at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Alma.
