John Avery Casper passed away on January 9, 2018.
He lived a joyful life for 96 years. His parents, Frank and Lottie Mae Casper, lived in rural Cherokee County when John was born.
On September 21, 1946, he and Charline Bullock married and began a 71-year long loving relationship. They moved to Pasadena, Texas, in 1951 where they started their young family and had three children – Dan Avery, Gary Allen, and Connie Lynn.
John enjoyed a career in the Petro-Chemical industry and worked for Lubrizol Corporation. He enjoyed many hobbies; his favorites included RV traveling, fishing, golf, and spending time with his beloved family.
His parents, Frank and Lottie Mae, preceded him in death, as did his son Dan; his older sister Frankie Sharp; and brothers Wallace, Charles, Curtis, Robert, and Billy.
He is survived by his beloved wife Charline, son Gary and his wife Sara, daughter Connie McIntyre and her husband Robert, sisters Lois Davis, and Betty Lou Snyder; four grandchildren Zach Casper, Josh McIntyre, Katie Johnston, and Kellsie McIntyre; and five great grandchildren.
John's family will have a visitation period prior to the Graveside Service on a Monday, January 15, 2018, from 1:30pm – 3:00pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
The Graveside Service will follow at 3:00pm. Refreshments and snacks will be provided for all of John's friends and family at the funeral home immediately after the services.
