He was the son of Paul & Sarah (Patoine) Corriveau.

During WWI he served as a Lieutenant in the 55th company, 5th Regiment, USMC. He was killed in action October 6, 1918 in the Meuse Argonne. When the war ended, his remains were returned to the United States, and reburied on September 10, 1921 in Calvary Cemetery, Concord NH.

Before the war, he was a horticulturist employed by the University of Rhode Island. He had previously graduated from Concord (NH) High School, and from the University of New Hampshire Class of 1916.
