Juanita Clement, age 94, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma, on October 11, 1923, daughter of the late Rufus Benjamin and Dottie Victoria (Perrien) Pendleton. On September 15, 1944, in Van Buren, Arkansas, Juanita married Edwin “Ted” Clement, who preceded her in death on March 5, 1992.
She was employed at Pryor Novelty for over 20 years. Juanita was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Christian Church in Tuscumbia.
She is survived by five children, Edwina Slone of Tuscumbia, Ronald Clement of Eldon, Teddy Sue Allen of Lake Ozark, Mark Clement of Tuscumbia, and Rick Clement of Platte City; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five sisters; two brothers; two grandsons, Darren Slone and Remington Clement; and her son-in-law, Danny Slone.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services immediately following at 1 p.m., on Saturday, January 13, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Zion Cemetery.
