Actress. She will be best remembered for her role as 'Hope Morrison' in 16 episodes of the popular Australian television soap opera, "Home and Away" in 2016. Born one of two children (her younger sister Annabelle Falkholt was born in 1996), to a father of Swedish heritage and a mother of Italian heritage, she graduated from Gilroy College in Castle Hill, Australia, and was awarded the Higher School Certificate in 2006. After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, she went onto star in several theatrical productions including the musical "Cabaret." Following her graduation from the University of New South Wales, she went onto work in several production jobs for Channel Seven and Carnival Films, including several television commercials. In 2012, she was accepted to the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, Australia, and after some studying there she appeared in some minor television roles including "Tricky Business" (2012), and "Underbelly: Badness (2012)." She then graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney, Australia, in 2015, and went onto further her acting career. She also appeared as 'Lina' in the short crime film, "Bar Talk" (2015), and she won the recurring role of 'Hope Morrison' on the long-running Australian soap opera "Home and Away" in 2016. Her next appearances included appearing as 'Diana' in the 2017 film "Green River: Part One." Her last appearances were in the lead role of 'Harmony' in the film "Harmony," an appearance in the role of 'Emma Bailey' in the popular television series "Bite Club," which airs on Australia's Nine Network, the role of 'Jane the actor' in the short film, "Trigger Happy," and the role of 'Genevieve Leclaire' in three episodes of the Australia television series, "Mystery Road," all which were released following her death in 2018. On December 26, 2017, during the holiday season, her family was involved in a head-on collision at Ulladulla, New South Wales, Australia. Sadly, her mother Vivian and her father Lars were killed instantly, as well as the driver of the other vehicle. She and her younger sister Annabelle initially survived the crash but Annabelle passed away three days later from her injuries at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney, Australia, at the age of 21. Jessica was taken to St. George Hospital in Sydney, Australia, and was in a coma. Her doctors operated on her skull and removed part of her kidney. On January 12, 2018, her life support was turned off and she lived for another six days before passing away at the age of 29, on January 17, 2018. Her family's funeral was held at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Concord, Australia, twelve days before she passed away. Following her death and funeral, Jessica was interred with her family at a crypt at the Rookwood Catholic Cemetery and Crematoria in Rookwood, Australia.
