He is the son of the late Clyde Nash and the late Mary (Luttrell) Palmer.
He is survived by his wife, Martha (Gant) Palmer; daughters, Janet Palmer and Mary Ellen Palmer; step son, Jimmy Wayne Ring; sister, Betty Younger; brother, Eddie Palmer; 2 step-grandsons and 3 step great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 11 at Halls Funeral Home, 109 N. Church St., Halls, TN. Burial will follow in Archer's Chapel Cemetery near Halls,TN. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 11 from 11:00 am. until service time at Halls Funeral Home.
