Castenze was the son of Antonio Sinatra and Lucy Lombardi.

"GARFIELD Castie Sinatra, 82, died Wednesday. Born in Garfield, he was a lifelong city resident. Mr. Sinatra was a warehouse supervisor for Gabriel Industries, formerly Kohner Toys, Elmwood Park, for 15 years until retiring in 1980. Previously, he was a supervisor for Forstman Woolen Mill for 32 years. A World War H Army veteran serving as a staff sergeant, he received the Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart, EAME Service Ribbon and a Bronze Star with three citations. He was a member of the Garfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2867 and the Elmwood Park American Legion Post 147. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife. Rose; two brothers, Angelo Sinatra and William Ventura; and a sister; Angelina Ventura.

Surviving are a son, Anthony of Wood-Ridge; two brothers, Gerome Ventura of Garfield and Andrew Sinatra of Wallington; three sisters, Helen Pezzementi of Gardendale, Ala., Mildred Jackson of Garfield and Louise Ventura of Brazil; and four grandchildren. Aloia Rrneral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., is in charge of arrangements."
