On January 7, 2018, Mrs. Faye Jenkins age 71 of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away suddenly.

She was the oldest daughter of the late John and Edna Calandrino; wife of the late MSgt., Ronald Gene Jenkins; and beloved mother to her son, Jason Jenkins and his wife Pennie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her brother, John Calandrino, Jr.

Faye is survived by her son and daughter- in- law, Jason and Pennie Jenkins of Ocean Springs, MS; sisters, Anna Maria GioCastro and Elizabeth Alicea of New York; and numerous family and friends.

She retired from Vancleave Middle School district after 17 years. Faye was a generous and loving woman, a kind and gentle soul, and one who was always there for those she loved. She always had a " smile" to brighten your day.

We will always carry you in our heart forever. "Dance with the Angels until we meet again".

A visitation will be on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., with a funeral service held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 9:30 am at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., at Washington Ave in West Jackson County.

Interment will follow service at Biloxi National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Jackson County Humane Society.
