Mary B. Tomchek, age 81, formerly of 1030A S. 25th St., Manitowoc, died early Saturday morning, January 15, 1994, at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 18, 1994, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Rev. John Puodziunas O.F.M. will officiate and burial will follow in the St. Casimir Cemetery in Northeim.

She was born Mary Barbara Tomchek, December 4, 1912, in the town of Centerville, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Jagodinski Tomchek. She moved to Manitowoc in 1939, and had been employed by Pleuss Realty Company and Copp's of Manitowoc. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella Mystic Rose Circle and the Manitowoc Professional Women. She was also a member of the St. Mary's Rosary Society, which will recite the Rosary in church at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law Theresa Tomchek and Stella Tomchek, both of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at the St. Mary's Church from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services. Memorials would be appreciated to St. Mary's Church.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home of Manitowoc is serving the family.
