Thomas D. Bryan, age 65, of Groveport, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Zusman Hospice. Born November 13, 1952 in Lima, Ohio to the late Maurice O. and Mary L. (Braun) Bryan, he was a graduate of Wapakoneta High School and Columbus Tech. He was self-employed at Bryan Electronics for 14 years, owner and manager of Maverick's Bar & Grill for 9 years, and supervisor at Mid-Ohio Development from 1998 until his illness. He was a member of Groveport St. Mary Church, Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533, and a longtime member of Wapakoneta Eagle Lodge #691. He enjoyed boating, skiing, tubing with family on Indian Lake, antique cars, and helping his kids remodel their homes, hence his nickname, "Tom Terrific". Survived by his wife of 34 years, Sandy (Ball) Bryan; sons, Adam (Sandy) Bryan, Jon (Natalie) Earl; daughters, Nikki (Kevin) Smith, Audra (Cande) Juarez, Amber (Nate) Chiles, Lindsay (Paddy Caulfield) Bryan; 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Maurice (Ann) Bryan, Jr., Brian (Kathy) Bryan, Mike (Daneen) Bryan, Mary (Shane) Marker; nieces and nephews; and special friend, Phyllis Schaub. Friends may visit 3-7 pm Thursday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Friday at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 5170 Winchester Southern Road, Canal Winchester, with Fr. Denis Kigozi, Celebrant. Interment Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
