Jerry Caldwell, age 69, of Yeaddiss, KY passed away on Jan. 09, 2018 at the Hazard Medical Center. Jerry was a retired underground miner. He was the son of the late Paul Caldwell and the late Bessie Harris Caldwell. He is also preceded in death by one brother: Harold "Sleepy" Caldwell.
He is survived by his wife Viola Brock Caldwell; one son: Jerry Caldwell Jr. (Donna) of Harlan, KY; two daughters: Susan Caldwell of Yeaddiss, KY & Melinda Cody (Tom) of Viper, KY; four brothers: Clyde Caldwell of Slemp, KY, Denver Caldwell of Slemp, KY, Darrell Caldwell of Slemp, KY & Bobby Caldwell of Delphia, KY; special sister: Linda Sexton; uncle: KD Harris; aunt: Linda France; sister-in-law: Phyllis Caldwell; eight grandchildren: Makayla, Cory, Rosie, Ethan, Emilee, Eian, Justin & Austin; one great grandchild: Alexis Michelle and a host of family & friends.
Visitation will be at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at Leatherwood after 4PM Sat. Jan. 13, 2018.
Funeral will be 1PM Sun. Jan. 14, 2018 at the Church with Jesse Paul Wagers & Shafter Shepherd officiating
Burial will be at Caldwell Family Cemetery at Yeaddiss.
