Emily Carroll, Birmingham, AL, age 94, passed away at St Martin's in the Pines Senior Living Community on January 9, 2018.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Birmingham with her parents at a young age. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School, and working mother retired from Ford Tool and Carbide Company.
She was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church throughout her life, most recently at Cahaba Springs Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Lucian Carroll, Jr. (1925-2004). They were married on the 28th of August, 1945 in Jefferson County, Alabama. Also by her parents; John Thomas Keyser Senior and Helen Elizabeth Cole Keyser. Also by her Brother, John Thomas Keyser Junior (1922-1997).
She is survived by her children, James Lucian Carroll, III (Norma), Trussville, AL, Susan Carroll Steele (Bruce), Mountain Brook, AL, Sarah Katherine Carroll (Barry Gilliland), Fairhope, AL, and John David Carroll (Shelia), Odenville, AL; grandchildren, Anne Carroll Hepburn (TJ), Hemet, CA, and Linda Carroll Lockett (Derick), Trussville, AL; and great-grandchildren Chloe Lockett and Max Lockett.
