Lonnie Leon Pressley, Sr. age 77, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Monday, January 8, 2018, in Texarkana Texas. He was born February 28, 1940, in Horatio, Arkansas. He was retired after 39 years from Weyerhaeuser. He was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church and Army National Guard.
Mr. Pressley was preceded in death by his parents, Monte and Susie Stinnett Pressley and eight siblings, Lanor Pressley, Madora Pressley, Lillie Pullium, Betty Reid, Eveline Johnson, Ruthie Ford, Alvie Pressley and T Bone Pressley.
He is survived by his wife of 55 of years, one son and daughter-in-law, two daughters and sons-in-law, one brother and sister-in-law, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Pressley will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in De Queen. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10th at the funeral home.
