Richard Michael Joyner, 59, of Alpharetta, GA, passed away, surrounded by his family, Saturday evening, January 6, 2018.

He was the son of the late O.W. and Faye Joyner and grew up in Alpharetta. Richard graduated from Milton High School in 1976 and married his high school sweetheart, Joy. He was the owner of Richard’s Automotive in Canton, GA. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on cars and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, O.W and Faye Joyner, and his grandsons, Carder and Cooper Goss.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Joy; his daughters, Kristina Goss and Kimberly Foster; his grandchildren, Makinley Foster, Harper Goss, Barrett Foster and Caroline Goss; his brother; his sisters and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA, on Monday, January 8th from 2-4PM and 6-8PM and on Tuesday, January 9th from 10AM-2PM.
A funeral service will be held at Northside Chapel at 2PM on January 9th and will be followed by a graveside service at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA.
