KALISPELL — Maria K. Jensen Green, 83, passed away in Kalispell on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018. Maria was born on Dec. 7, 1935, in Missoula. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at Sunset Memorial Chapel in Missoula with Burial to follow at Missoula City Cemetery. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.

MISSOULA — Maria Jensen Ogrin Green, of Santa Barbara, California, passed away on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018. Maria was born on Dec. 7, 1935, in Missoula. She was the eldest child of Lawrence and Bessie Jensen. Maria graduated from Missoula County High School and attended the University of Montana. Maria then married Rod Ogrin of Great Falls and they had one child, Kirk Ogrin.

Maria has spent the past 40 years in Santa Barbara, California, where she met and married Dr. John Green. Maria enjoyed an active social life with her many friends. Her favorite days included gardening and tending to her roses, walking on the beach, going to movies, listening to music, shopping and having dinner with friends. Her beautiful smile, charming laugh and boundless energy, will be missed by all who knew her.

Maria is survived by her son, Kirk Ogrin and his wife Margo Hunter of Bigfork, her granddaughter Autumn Parsons and her great-grandchildren, Amy and Ally; her brother, George Jensen and his wife Shirley Jensen; brother Bob Jensen and his wife Jan Parks; niece Kristy Jensen Warycha and her two children Cadyn and Nikolette Warycha and nephews Cole and Cort Jensen and many cousins.

Services will be held in Missoula at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 7405 Mullan Rd., this Friday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. with burial at the Missoula City Cemetery immediately following.
