Mike grew up on their farm northwest of Kenmare, North Dakota.
Mike enlisted in the navy and served for 12 years. He was stationed in Spain, Japan, and the Aleutian Islands in Alaska.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Mavor and Janet (DeLong) Wade, his siblings, Kathy Lynne, Douglas James and Nancy Sue Wade and his niece, Melissa Ann Buechler.
He is survived by his wife, Lynnette (Cartwright) Wade, his brother and sisters Barbara Jean Wade of Rochester, MN, Jeffrey Allen and Robyn (Berg)Wade of Williston, ND, and Sandra Jane Wade of Bismarck, ND.
The Committal Service with Military Honors will be at Marion National Cemetery.

Michael Scott Wade was born June 29, 1959 at Kenmare, North Dakota. He was the first of seven children born to Mavor and Janet (DeLong) Wade. Mike grew up on their farm northwest of Kenmare, North Dakota. He had 2 brothers and 4 sisters. He graduated from Kenmare High School in 1977 and then studied mechanical engineering at NDSU for 2 years. Mike then enlisted in the navy and served for 12 years. He was stationed in Spain, Japan, and the Aleutian Islands in Alaska. Mike started his own electrical parts company in Alaska after his service in the Navy. After that he worked for a pharmaceutical company in Indianapolis, Indiana, worked in Williston, ND for a while and then moved back to Indianapolis, Indiana and worked there. Mike liked hunting and fishing, the Colts and went to the Indianapolis 500 several times.
Mike died at the age 58 years, on Sunday December 31, 2017.

Also, Aunts and Uncles Woodrow, Twan, Lynas (Tommy), Percy, Argyll, Loyce and Ronnyce Wade, Eugene (Buster) and Glaudia (Wade) Bly, Susan (DeLong) Miiller and Roland (Terry) Delong.
He is survived by his wife, Lynnette (Cartwright) Wade, his brother and sisters Barbara Jean Wade of Rochester, MN, Jeffrey Allen and Robyn (Berg)Wade of Williston, ND, and Sandra Jane Wade of Bismarck, ND, his Aunts and Uncles Ardis (Billie) Mortensen, Harley and Cheryl (Wade) Dornink, Dennis and Pat (DeLong) Slaaen, Merle and Deanna DeLong, Keith and Meiko DeLong, and Steven DeLong and his nieces and nephews Sami and John Tayeb, Travis and Jessica (Lance) Kaiser, Felicity (Nicolas) Satermo, Stevie Kindt and Brittany and Michael Buechler.
