Robert Leon Bradbury, 88, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday January 6, 2018 in Union Hospital. He was born May 17, 1929 to William Leon Bradbury and Thelma Louise Dale Bradbury in Wilford, Indiana. Robert was most recently an information specialist at the Terre Haute Visitor Center. He also worked for Ethel Visqueen for 29 years, Techncote, and Cadillac.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 65 years, Doris Thomas Bradbury, and infant son, Gary Wayne Bradbury, a brother, Douglas Bradbury, a sister Betty Gorby, a granddaughter, Elizabeth Bradbury, and an infant great grandson, Carston DeGroote.
He is survived by daughters; Sue Anderson and her husband Rob, Debbie Hartman and her husband Dale, a son, Ed Bradbury and his wife Kathy, grandchildren Steve Dowell and his wife Melissa, Christina Anderson, Kelly Stout and her husband Dave, Sarah Tindal and her husband Steve, Megan DeGroote and her husband Culley, Scott Anderson, Emily Wildin and her husband Jonathan, Ashli Foster, R.J. Hartman, and Robert Hartman, 11 great grandchildren, a brother Don Bradbury and his wife Kathy, a sister-in-law Judy Lints and her husband Leroy, and a special friend Gayla Crum.
Visitation for Robert will be Wednesday January 10, 2018 from 4 pm until 8 pm in the Barbour Avenue United Methodist Church, 1401 Barbour Ave, Terre Haute, IN 47804 Services will be Thursday January 11, 2018 at 11 am in the church. A police escort will be conducted by Bill Bradbury of the Indiana State Police. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
