Kenneth H. Owen age 61, of Oregon, and formerly of Mt Morris, died Saturday March 23, 2019 at Oregon Living and Rehabilitation. He was born May 7, 1957 in Eldorado, IL the son of Virgil and Albina (Lenort) Owen. Kenny had worked at Woods in Oregon and then for 25 years at Quebcor in Mt Morris prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Teamsters. He was a big fan of the St Louis Cardinals baseball team and the Green Bay Packers.
Kenny is survived by sisters Theresa (Robert) Sheridan of Dixon, Patty (Ed) Heckman of Rochester, MN and brother James (Sonja) Owen of Dixon, nieces and nephews Melissa (Matt) Helfrich, Mathew (Elise) Sheridan, Christa Heckman and Micah (Jesse) Heckman and several great nieces and nephews.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday April 5, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon with a scripture service at . Burial of cremains will be at a later date at St Patrick Cemetery in Maytown. A memorial has been established to Serenity Hospice and Home.
