ABERDEEN - Gene Arthur Lundquist, 69, died March 24, 2007, at his residence. Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel with the Revs. David Pannel and Wade Cook officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Center Hill Cemetery in Hamilton. Visitation is Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Lundquist was born Feb. 15, 1938, in Highbridge, Wis., to the late Erick Torene Lundquist and Cecelia Carbon Lundquist. He had lived in Aberdeen since 1995. He retired in 1995 as a stationary engineer for St. Catherine's Hospital in Kenosha, Wis., and was employed at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. He was a member of Saron Lutheran Church in Ashland, Wis., a member of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 286 in Kenosha and a lifetime member of American Legion Post 26. He served in the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Patsy West Lundquist of Aberdeen; daughters, Tammy Johnson of Aberdeen, Tina Murff of Amory and Tonya Peloquin of Hamilton; son, Troy Lundquist of Wren; sisters, Hazel Biglow and June Lundquist, both of Ashland, Wis., Dorothy Ewer and Helen Singer, both of Kenosha, Evelyn Hoffman of St. Cloud, Fla., Carol Stolarzyk of Sun Prairie, Wis., Karen Morgan of Belleville, Wis., and Violet Starr of Gilbert, Minn.; brothers, Alfred Lundquist of Highbridge, Ernie Lundquist of Ashland, Wis., Gordon Lundquist of Texas and Frank Lundquist of Kalispell, Mont.; and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tracy Callick, Jeff Stanford, Mike and Rick Peters and Glen and Lynn West.
