Robin J. Adair, 71, of Vineland, NJ passed away on Saturday January 6, 2018 following a long illness. He was born in Salem, NJ to the late Robin H. and Mazie (Kacewich) Adair, Jr. Robin attended the Pennsville public schools, Goldey Beacom Business School & Salem Technical Institute.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed for 18 yrs as a loss control representative for Selective Insurance Co. He had previously worked in the glass industry for 18 at Kontes & Ace Glass Co. Robin was a State of N.J. Fire Code Official and a State of N.J. Fire Police Instructor. He was a longtime member of the Vineland Fire Dept, South Vineland Fire Co. #2 as well as the Cumberland County Fire Police of which he served for over a decade as Chief. Robin was a member of the N.J. State Fire Chiefs Assoc., NJ State Fire Police Assoc., N.J State Fireman’s Association of which he was an exempt member, SPAAMFA, Glasstown Antique Fire Brigade. Robin had many interests, especially antique fire apparatus and fire memorabilia. He also enjoyed the quiet life spending time with his family, dogs & cats. He will be very much missed by his family & friends.

Robin is survived by his wife of 49 yrs. Sharon (Thompson), Son Christopher & wife Lee (Tibben), Grandson Logan as well as several Aunts & Cousins.

Relatives & friends will be received on Wednesday January 10, 2018 from 9:00-10:30 AM at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland, NJ where his funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery, Vineland, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be mad to the Animal Adoption Center, 501 N. Berlin Rd., P.O. Box 4017, Lindenwold, NJ 08021.
