Funeral services were said for Mrs. Mildred Ann Higdon, aged 75, Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 9, who passed away at her home west of Winona Sunday. The last rites were conducted by Father McAlperin after which the remains were carried to Chestnut, Ill., for their final resting place.
Mrs. Higdon had been in ill health for a considerable time. The deceased moved to Winona with her husband, Mr. J. E. Higdon, in 1906. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Maus, Chestnut, Ill., and Miss Mary Ann Higdon, Birmingham, Ala.; two sons, Edward Higdon, Birmingham, and W. J. Higdon, Chattanooga, Tenn.; two brothers, C. H. Peddicord, Berry, Ill., and Wm. Peddicord, Lincoln, Ill.
