Danny Lee Woods, 71 of Roanoke started his journey walking the streets of gold to his Heavenly Mansion on Saturday January 6, 2018.
Danny was born August 28, 1946 to Roy and Peggy (Musser) Woods. He was a Master Craftsman of flooring installation, learning this trade from his father.
Danny is preceded in death by his father, Roy C. Woods, and is survived by his precious mother, Peggy Musser Woods, with whom he lived and cared for daily for the last ten years. Also surviving are his son, Christopher (Lori) Woods, a brother, Roger Woods, a sister, Rhonda Woods, his aunt, Judy (Bobby) Martin and special cousins, Kaye and Tara Garland.
Services will be in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Noon Wednesday, January 10, 2018. The Rev. Maurice Wright will officiate. Friends may call at Oakey’s South Chapel on Brambleton Ave. from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday January 9, 2018.
