Suzanne was raised in Bloom Township in Clay County, Kansas. She was a graduate of Clay Center High School in 1953. She married “Gene” Thompson on January 9, 1955. She and her husband were foster parents to over 20 children through the years. She was a member of the Clay Center Wesleyan Church. She was preceded in death by parents, one brother, 1 Grandchild and 1 Step-Grandchild.
